An English reading workshop in university allowed this student to learn skimming and other skills while enjoying The Sign of the Four. He moved to Hong Kong after beginning his education in Canada.

Learning English in Canada and Hong Kong exposed this Medical student to different curricula. She learned a lot of vocabulary from reading Geronimo Stilton. She felt watching TV dramas like the Mentalist, House, and Once Upon a Time is a better way to learn.

English was used for chatting with students from North America and Europe during an exchange to the US. This Cultural Studies major conducts research in English including reading academic articles.

This student used English every day while studying Primary 4-6 in Singapore. He started his own skim reading scheme with a target of three to four books a month focusing mostly on politics and philosophy.
