A PhD student recalls watching Mr Bean videos in secondary school.

Movies and games during British Council tutorials made learning English fun for this student. She especially liked watching Mr Bean. She also likes listening to songs. She has read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Watching movies such as Mr Bean in a language school helped this Nursing major develop an interest in reading. Reading the phrases and the spells in the Harry Potter book series reminded her of the movie.

Mr. Bean was played to teach this Arts major British culture in a university English class. She was required to read the South China Morning Post at secondary school although she was not interested.
