A teacher provided support when this student had to self-introduce at his new EMI school and ignited his interest in English. He read Angela’s Ashes, Lord of the Flies, Julius Caesar, and Steve Jobs which changed his perspective on business and marketing.

Reading and performing Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar was an interactive experience for this Hotel Management major. He read a children’s book to students in Fiji. He likes Percy Jackson.

Reading and reciting Shakespeare’s works in high school helped recreate medieval times for this Engineering graduate and his classmates. He likes the speeches in Julius Caesar and Hamlet.

To prepare for the DSE, this Civil Engineering major had to read a lot of texts and memorise the vocabulary. She read Julius Caesar during an English leadership programme.
