Using English at school enabled this Business major to learn the language ‘unconsciously’. Although her teacher chose Of Mice and Men and The Merchant of Venice for IB literature she enjoyed them.

Attending an international school and chatting with her English teacher improved this Accounting major’s proficiency. Reading Of Mice and Men made her think about how complicated life can be. She also read about Beethoven in Chinese, Korean and English.

A course in high school required this Law major to read Of Mice and Men and write an essay about it. She describes reading The Giver as a “life-changing” experience.
