Watching TV shows with subtitles helped this Business major acquire everyday English. Reading The Five People You Meet in Heaven taught him vocabulary and made him reflect. He also likes biographies because he can learn about leadership from them.

English lessons in the UK were designed to cater to this Law major’s needs. A teacher helped her understand A Christmas Carol. She now mostly reads academic books but she also likes reading biographies.

Watching movies and discussing the content and the use of language in secondary school interested this Business Systems major. A book about Elon Musk is related to her university studies.
