Primary school teachers, including a NET, helped this Social Science major with her pronunciation. Pop music also helped. She appreciates the writing of William Shakespeare.

Acting and writing scripts in the drama club at school kept this Fashion and Textiles major interested in English. The drama club activities also included reading plays such as Doctor Faustus and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Starting off in an international school, this Fashion Marketing major faced problems when switching back to the local system as teachers preferred using Cantonese. She read works of Shakespeare for her literature class, such as A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Performing Macbeth in junior secondary was an interactive learning experience for this Cultural Management major. She studied Literature in English during senior secondary. Lord of the Flies is remarkable because it talks about human nature as an evil thing.

Working with a foreigner made this Cultural Studies major use English a lot. She really likes William Shakespeare and explores Old English. She loves A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

A teacher selected some bilingual children’s books for this Economics major to improve her English. She read Shakespeare’s plays such as A Midsummer Night’s Dream in secondary school.

A drama programme in secondary school gave this English major a chance to write her own script and perform in front of her classmates. She read some Shakespeare including A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Much Ado About Nothing.

Attending high school in Vancouver was non-stop studying for this Nutrition major. Reading Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream in senior high was fun even though it was something new to her.
