A lunchtime session in primary school allowed this Accounting major to learn English in a one-on-one setting with a coach. She read The Little Prince and then went on to read other versions including one in Chinese.

A NET gave encouragement to this Logistics major and helped her gain confidence in learning English. Reading the Taking Sides series inspired her to reflect on some social issues.

A study tour to Australia gave this Fashion and Textile major an opportunity to talk with her host family and sightseeing. She also finished reading the seventh book of Harry Potter during her time there.

Training overseas allowed this Logistics major to speak to foreigners with different accents. It was difficult to understand at times. She rarely reads in English.

Watching YouTube videos like PewDiePie is a source of learning for this Fashion and Textile major. There are many new words in the assigned university texts.

Grammar exercises were not enjoyable for this Fashion and Textile major. She used to sleep during aural examinations. She likes listening to Lana Del Rey’s songs and reading the lyrics.
